Kale & Rice Purée

I love cooked kale with rice so I knew it would taste great as a puree for Oliver.

For babies 6 months and up.

Kale & Rice Puree – Leftovers can be frozen.

4 large organic kale leaves, rinsed well with large stems and ribs removed

Organic rice cereal for baby, I love Earth’s Best

Breast milk, formula, or organic white grape juice

Chop kale leaves and place into a steamer basket and cook for 10 minutes.

Place cooked kale into a food processor or blender, add a few tablespoons of water or white grape juice and pulse until smooth, add more liquid to thin out if needed.

Prepare rice cereal according to package, using either formula, white grape juice, or breast milk.

Mix part of pureed kale and rice cereal together.
